Drying chamber for wood or charcoal briquettes
Description of the installation
The furnace is equipped with an automatic drying temperature control system, which can vary between 30-200°C. To obtain thermal energy, it is possible to use: gasoline, diesel, liquefied gas or natural gas, wood, walnut shells, electricity and heat recovery unit from BIO-KILN or with preliminary dryer for the carbonization furnaces EKKO. The dryer uses the recirculation principle. It is equipped with an electromechanical valve that releases steam when the set temperature is reached. This allows you to significantly increase the efficiency of the process and reduce fuel consumption. The production cycle is 12-24 hours, depending on the parameters of the woods or briquettes used for drying. The dryer can be equipped with trolleys for charcoal briquettes, when it’s used for wood drying are used trolleys from EKKO carbonization furnace.

*When using electric energy to obtain a heat carrier, the consumption of electricity is 20 kW or 30 kW (depending on the capacity of the dryer 2 or 3 tons/cycle). When using the excess heat recovery unit from BIO-KILN, the electrical energy is used only for the electric elements of device (ventilator and control panel), same for preliminary dryer for the carbonization furnaces EKKO.
